About the Role
As a Strategic Accounts Manager, you will play a vital role in driving account revenue growth and partner with internal teams to maximise customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, a customer-centric mindset, and a talent for building meaningful partnerships that support both client and company objectives. Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support client success, boost engagement, and achieve revenue targets. You will operate onsite with clients and hybrid/remotely, with some travel across Europe required.
Key Accountabilities
Client Engagement & Revenue Growth: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to deepen account engagement. Identify growth opportunities, upsell and cross-sell tailored solutions that align with client goals and support revenue growth. Responsible for a revenue target.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the commercial primary point of contact, fostering relationships with key client representatives, other partners and internal teams to help ensure smooth service delivery and implementation.
Performance Management: In collaboration with Service Delivery, track and analyse key metrics such as patient identification, activation rates, and adherence to ensure program success. Use data-driven insights to advise clients on best practices and strategies to optimise results.
Strategic Planning & Expansion: Collaborate with clients to design and execute strategies that drive program adoption and increase participant engagement. Identify trends and share relevant insights to maximise health outcomes and client satisfaction.
Reporting & Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and report on program performance, outcomes, and financial results. Share findings regularly with clients and internal teams, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
Contract and KPI Management: Ensure all contract obligations are met. Work with internal teams to address any gaps and ensure alignment with client expectations.
Experience & Skills
Language Skills: Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a revenue growth management, or strategic account management role within health tech, healthcare services, or a similar field. Experience in the Dutch healthcare system is essential.
Knowledge of Health and Wellness: Familiarity with T2 diabetes, obesity, or preventive healthcare services, and an understanding of the impact of health programs in improving patient outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with diverse external client stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, C-level executives, and public sector representatives, as well as effectively managing internal stakeholders to align on strategic goals and drive collaborative solutions.
Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in driving revenue growth within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and value-added services.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of health tech platforms and the ability to interpret performance metrics and KPIs. Experience working with CRM tools and data analytics to monitor and manage program success.
Agility: Able to manage a variety of tasks and clients in a fast-moving, scale-up environment.
Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable with pivoting from the strategic to the operational, not afraid to ‘roll up the sleeves’ if needed.
