Liva Healthcare is leading a long list of projects in the field of obesity, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes and gestational diabetes. We want to build and increase our expertise and experience in the evidence generation to support members, market access, clinical requirements and to meet regulatory safety requirements. We want to demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of our programs using already collected health data.

In the research department we conceptualise, design, generate and disseminate real world evidence through various observational and clinical studies. We want to improve our analyses using basic statistical methods as well as advanced methods. 

Primary responsibilities

As researcher at Liva your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conseptualise and design new RWE studies

• Support and guide our research department with statistical data analysis that can be used for peer reviewed articles and reports

• Communicate data in an easily understandable manner

• Test hypotheses and explore new and innovative ways to use data

• Writing reports and scientific publications

• Playing an active part in the publication process

• Work closely with the data science department

Your profile

To succeed in the role as researcher we expect that you:

• Hold a master’s degree or PhD in Public Health Science, Biostatistics, Medicine or similar field

• Preferable 2-5 years of work experience

• Strong skills in writing reports and scientific papers

• A commercial mindset and a wish to work in a fast-paced environment

• Have a strong analytical mindset and an eye for detail

• User of SQL

• Advanced user in Python or R

• Is a team player who will contribute to our social company culture

• It’s an advantage if you have experience in qualitative methods
